Lawn!!

Two weeks ago Saturday (I know, I'm a little behind with this post) our small group came over and helped us lay sod in the back yard. It is soooooo nice having a lawn in place of our dirt patch! Hudson has missed the dirt a bit but we got him a pool and playing in the water seems to have replaced playing in the dirt.

Green, green grass. There's nothing like an instant lawn. And, I'm happy to report that after two weeks it's all still alive...no dead spots!

Sewing Projects

My latest sewing project has been making diaper bags for the numerous women in our church who are having (or have had a baby) this year. Here's how Heidi's turned out....I just love the fabric! I had some fabric left over so I also made her a little diaper clutch. I thought the button detail was just too cute.

Updates in Hudsonland

The big news around here is that Hudson has graduated to the big bed so baby sister (whose name is Livia for those of you who haven't heard) can have the crib. He has been a champ with the new bed. He moved into it on Saturday and has slept through the night and all his naps with no problems. He even waits for me to come get him in the morning, although I'm guessing this wont last too long. I'm just so thankful we haven't had any issues with him getting out of bed when he's not supposed to!




Jacob spent the day with us on Friday. I think Hudson enjoyed having

someone around to play with.
