18 Month Photos

Finally...a successful 18 month photo session. After many attempts, I finally got Hudson to sit still and smile for me. Here are the top 3.

Here' s a good scowl for you....

Fair Time

On Friday Jill and I decided to take the boys to the fair while it only cost $1 to get in. Unfortunately it seemed that the rest of Yakima decided to go to the fair at the exact same time as us. It took us an hour to get from Jill's house to our parking spot....what would normally be a 10 minutes max. Needless to say, the fair was packed. I think if I go back next year I'll just pay the big bucks to not have to fight the crowds. Despite the crowds, Hudson seemed to enjoy having so much to look at, especially the animals.
This isn't the greatest picture but it was cute seeing the three boys squeezed into the back seat of the Torrent all ready to go to the fair.

Hudson playing in a giant feed trough full of dried corn.

Hudson didn't stay inside the trough very long...he had more fun outside the trough picking up all the corn on the ground and throwing it back in. That's my boy!

Checking out the pony.

Fair food....Hudson was a big fan of the curly fries...that's about all he ate for dinner....
I know, so healthy.

Jacob really like the ketchup more than the fries...here he is trying to find some.

Hudson and his pal Jacob chillin' at dinner.

Here's a short clip of Hudson and the rabbits...he like to wave at them and say hi ;)

Pumpkins

Susan and I stopped at Jone's Produce today and they had all their pumpkins out for fall. Hudson thought the pumpkins were pretty cool and I thought it would be a good setting for an 18 month photo. Hudson's not real interested in sitting still for photos these days...
So here's what we ended up with.
This is the best of the bunch...what do you think...reprint worthy?

Cheese

Look at all these pumpkins!

Naturally, Hudson wanted to pick them all up...or try to that is

Here's Hudson checking out Jim's pumpkin back at home

A Trip to Randall Park

We took Hudson to Randall Park to check out the stream and the ducks...

We might actually move in some day...

Yeah...a painted house! I must admit that when I first saw the color going on I had a little panic attach. The color wasn't exactly what we expected and when it was wet it was quite a bit brighter. All the other houses in our neighborhood are very earthy colors and I felt like we were the fluorescent house. But, the color dried darker and I must admit I'm quite fond of it now. :) Good thing because I'm sick of painting!
If everything stays on schedule we could be moving in the first weekend in October.

Kitchen cabinets went in this week!

Living room...painted and with trim. Carpet starts going in next Friday.

Hudson's room turned out soooo cute!

Hudson has figured out that it's the ABCs on the wall and when he walked into his room today he started singing the ABC song...he's a smart one. ;)
