Women of Faith

This past weekend I got to go to Women of Faith in Spokane with my mom and all of my sisters (except Helen who is at college in CA). What a wonderful time of fellowship with my sisters and mom as well as a very spiritually refreshing time at the conference.

Since we're currently in the middle of potato harvest, the kids got to spend the weekend with Grandpa and Grandpa Koethke. They packed up their suitcases and couldn't wait until I said it was time to go!

Amy Grant concert....good stuff.

Me 'n my Momma - a great woman of faith in my life.

The Boorman girls (we missed you Helen).
I miss seeing these girls - I wish they all lived close by - sisters are such a blessing!

September Stuff

Another random smattering of photos from the Koethke family....

While we were remodeling our bathrooms we were without a tub. This Rubbermaid did tub duty for us on a few occasions and you'd think Hudson was soaking in complete luxury.
On a side note, the bathrooms upstairs are now completed and someday in the near future I plan to get before and after photos posted.

We set up this desk in the kitchen for Hudson and began some preschool here at home.
Here's the fun part - that desk was out in the garage here and used to be mine. :)

We enjoyed a little lunch visit from the Fry family and this is the only photo I have to show for it - Livia and Kathryn enjoying a little cookie for dessert.

I caught Livia doing some "reading" the other day...too cute!

Josh Groban Concert

On August 27th I had the opportunity to go to a Josh Groban concert with my mom and sisters Becca & Debbie. It was such a great weekend! We spent all day Friday shopping (without husbands or kids...unheard of, right) and then enjoyed a phenomenal concert Saturday evening. We spent the night in Seattle then got up for more shopping on our way home.
What a perfect girls weekend!

Ready for the concert to start

I think this may have the best concert I have ever been to. He travels with a bunch of very talented musicians and he was an entertaining guy when he spoke to go along with his great singing abilities.

Livia's Two Year Photos

I finally managed to have a successful photo shoot with Livia. She was all smiles and cooperation, which was oh so nice after all our failed attempts at the sunflower field.
This is my favorite
Aunt Debbie's favorite
Looking pensive
She does have some attitude, it's true...
The BIG smile
Such a cutie
