Cheese!

Hudson is five weeks old as of yesterday - which amazes me. I'm starting to believe all those people who say you forget all the pain of labor. Right after Hudson was born I told Christian I didn't think I would ever forget but that the pain was worth it....now I'm starting to forget. After five weeks I definitely can't imagine life without Hudson. He's not perfect and it's not always easy - but all that seems to fade away when I get the big grins like this or when he's snuggled up next to me sleeping. What a blessing!

Such a Cutie

We seem to have settled into some kind of normalcy with Hudson as he is both eating and sleeping better these days. I'm still amazed when I stop and think about the fact that he is our son - and I'm amazed by the amount of love we can feel for this little guy that we've only know for a short while. I try to remember to treasure each day with him as we look forward to all the exciting changes I know are ahead.
