Four Months Already!

Hudson turned four months old on Saturday. I can hardly believe he's already getting so big! He is still such a joy - he makes me smile each and every day.

Here he is on his birthday in a totally cute new outfit from his favorite Canadians. :)

The Big H (as uncle Shawn has dubbed him) has mastered the art of rolling from his back to his tummy and is getting to the point now where he doesn't mind staying there for a while.

Family Vacation

This past week we had the opportunity to take a family vacation to Orcas Island in the San Juans. It was a great time to get away and spend some time relaxing as a family. Christian enjoyed being away from work and I enjoyed having Christian's help with Hudson.

Mt. Constitution is the highest point on the island so we took a drive to the top to enjoy the view.

Hudson seemed to enjoy the view of the trees out the car window - he sure doesn't get that here.

A real perk of the place we stayed was that we got to watch the fireworks over the harbor from the comfort of our hot tub.

First Mariner's Game

On Saturday, June 30th, we took Hudson to his first Mariners game - he even had the outfit for the occasion. Our friends completed the outfit by buying him the cute little hat - although it's still a bit too big. :)

I think he enjoyed all the new sights and sounds and he was all smiles for the people sitting around us. But by the end we were all pretty wiped out.

This is what Hudson thought about batting practice - he really just couldn't be bothered.
