We are now officially less than a month away from Hudson's first birthday....crazy! During this first year of motherhood I have definitely had some moments of anxiety and unhappiness mixed in with all the moments of joy. There were some times when I wished that Hudson would just grow up so he could tell me what he wanted, rather than scream at me...or when I wished he would just sleep through the night...or what have you. But through it all I have tried to remember something my mom told me - "Treasure the time you have with him when he's a baby because it wont last very long." So during those times at 2am when I was trying to rock Hudson back to sleep I held him a little closer and reminded myself that it wouldn't be long before he wont let me rock him at all. I must admit that I don't miss rocking him in the middle of the night right now...but I know he's definitely not a little baby anymore. He's a bigger bundle of joy now. :)
We've had the ladder out some recently for various fix-ups around the house and Hudson thinks that it's pretty cool. Good thing we're not superstitious or he'd been in for some trouble...

When Christian is at home working the door to his office is usually closed. Hudson says "I know you're in there..."
