Craft Time

Been doing some more sewing lately...

For Kathryn's first birthday I bought her this cute top and then made the skirt to match. I used a pair of jean shorts, cut them off at the legs and then added the ruffles.

I also made a skirt like this (different fabric and minus the rick rack) for my sister Debbie - she can totally pull it off...I'm not sure I could pull of the ruffle skirt. Anyway, it's a great use of jeans that are too short or have holes in them, etc.

Latest pair of baby shoes - leftover fabric from Debbie's jeans....loving the rick rack these days!
Christi & Tyffany - I can't help thinking about our sewing evening every time I rip out a seam (which happens most every time I sew)..."you're not really sewing until you rip out a seam!"

I was wondering if you made that shirt, but thought it matched so well that you didn't! Kudos to you!
